Cambridge Arts Theatre donates 400 auditorium seats to the Amulet Theatre

Earlier this month we removed all 666 theatre seats from our auditorium, and we are thrilled to donate 400 of them to the Amulet Theatre in Shepton Mallet.

The Amulet Theatre was built in 1975, but has been out of public use since 2011. The original seating was damaged beyond repair by a water leak, and since 2023 a community group has been working to win funding to purchase, refurbish and reopen the theatre.

We are committed to reusing and repurposing as much of our old auditorium as possible, so we are delighted to be able to donate our seats. Please see above a photo of our auditorium seats outside their new home!
